Description:  Join us on an amazing three-day road trip through Lassen National Forest to Shasta Lake area.  Cross the Shasha Lake on a pontoon boat for an adventure through the Shasta Caverns.  Travel through the picturesque underground caverns surrounded by crystal and calcite formations that are nearly 250 million years old.  Followed by a Buffet-Style Dinner Cruise on Lake Shasta and overnight in Redding. The following day starts with a tour of Shasta Lake dam and power plant.  We’ll then head to Chester and spend the afternoon with a BBQ at Lake Almanor.  This event is limited to the first 50 people, don’t delay signing up.
 
Schedule:  This three-day trip takes us through Shasta staying Friday night in Redding and Saturday night at Chester.  Saturday will conclude our trip with a BBQ at Ken and Susan Hansen's lovely Lake Almanor home then returning to Reno Sunday morning.
 
Costs: Individuals are responsible for hotel costs for one night stay at each location, Redding CA, and Chester CA.  There’s also an additional $20.00 cost per person for the BBQ.  RCC has reserved rooms for those attending.
